Creation Balloons were very proud to provide the start and finish balloon arch for the Big Heart 5K Run.

The Reds had clearly taken defeat to heart in the first Big Heart 5K last year with an impressive turn out and resounding win at Walton Hall Park yesterday (August 9th). Although equating to a 2 - 1 victory the Reds actually had 12 of the first twenty runners home - with the Blues following up with just eight!
In addition there were more Red entries than Blue by approximately 70.
The Reds took first, third and fifth positions with the Blues in second and fourth. Sixth place was also a Red - Will Tansley from Netherton.
Margaret Aspinal from Hillsborough Family Support Group got the runners off at 11.00am and the HFSG charity had a good turn out with members of their committee also taking part.
The Blues charity was The Rhys Jones Memorial Fund. Christine Chellew was there on the start line encouraging her Army Colleague to yomp around the course complete with full 32lb back pack and Army Regulation boots!! Well done that man!
Creation Balloons will be providing the Start and Finishes Balloon Arches for the Santa Dash 2009. We have some specially designed arches.

SANTA DASH / MINI DASH ENTRY PROCEDURE 2009
THE SANTA DASH 5K Fun Run has an age limit of 15 years on December 6th. Entries will be accepted via paper entry forms or the online facility at www.runnersworld.co.uk
Anyone under 15 years of age on 6th December can still enter the Santa Dash with parental consent. A signature from the parent or guardian of the entrant is required on the paper entry form. The online facility is for entries age 15 or over on 6th December.
The entry fee for the 5K Santa Dash is £20. No concessions.
THE 1K MINI DASH is specifically for children aged 12 and under. This short run has a limit of 500 entries which are reserved for children of the appropriate age. Entry forms for the MINI DASH can be downloaded from www.runliverpool.org.uk alternatively there is an online entry facility via www.runnersworld.co.uk
Adults wishing to accompany their children around the MINI DASH course should enter the main 5K Fun Run so as not to take up the places designated for children. Adults then have the option of either running in the main 5K event AND then accompanying their child or children around the MINI DASH course - or - simply take part in the MINI DASH.
Parents NOT wishing to enter either event can simply accompany their child / children around the MINI DASH course but will not be eligible to receive the event Goody Bag, medal and t shirt at the end of the run.
The entry fee for the Mini Dash is £10.
Santa suits and event numbers are only provided to official entrants.
CHILDREN TAKING PART IN THE MINI DASH MUST BE ACCOMPANIED AROUND THE COURSE.
